Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect what we need to get your hydrovac excavation job quoted, we pass it to one hydrovac operator, and nobody else sees it. The detail is below.

What we keep

Whatever you choose to send us. For a hydrovac excavation request that is usually your name, phone, email and the address and the details of the job. Calls to this site's number are logged with the calling number and time, and voicemails are recorded and transcribed.

Why we collect it

We use it for one thing: getting your job in front of the one hydrovac operator who handles Cambridge requests for this site. It is not sold, rented, shared with other trades, or added to a mailing list.

Analytics

No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, and no cookies of our own. The web host keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, page, browser) for security.

Keeping and deleting

As long as it takes to handle the request, plus a reasonable period for follow-up and our records. Voicemail recordings are purged on a rolling schedule.

Access, correction and deletion

Email hello@cambridgehydrovac.ca and we will tell you what we have, fix it, or delete it, as Canada's PIPEDA allows. We only text or email you about your own request (CASL); reply STOP at any time.
